Hugo Froud, the venerable Dalai Llama, has driven to London for three cancelled games of cricket this summer. Just think what filth might appear on his twitter page if this were to happen for a fourth time. Although that thought may be reason enough for a mass rain dance on Sunday morning, we really would like to play some cricket, so don the kooky round sunglasses, roll up the legs of those already rolled-up trousers and drag yourself to South Park for a sun-drenched afternoon of malcoordinated ball games, revellry and scoffery.
Our victims on Sunday, all the way from Warren Street, are Billy Howarth’s Rabbits CC, an outfit that strike fur into the hearts of their opposition. Last year a hare was all that separated the two teams at the death. This match promises to be so hot, in fact, that if it were a ship, I would scream at you “Water Ship Down”!

No. Anyway, come and hang out in South Park this Sunday, there will be cakes, sandwiches and Rose (thanks Stimps) for one and all.
